The staff was affable during our whole stay. Its location was indeed marvellous and only 5 minutes walk from a grand castle. Besides, it was near the lakeside, South Lake Tahoe and outlets.

We had a wonderful stay at this lodge. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the nearby attractions. Our room was cozy and comfortable with clean and fresh bedding. The bathroom was sparkling clean and well-maintained. We appreciated the excellent service provided by the staff and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast every morning. The lodge had fantastic facilities for families, including a pool, picnic tables and barbecue areas. We particularly enjoyed the stunning views of the lake from our room.
The lodge could benefit from improving its amenities in the communal areas.

Low budget hotel with an excellent service. Exceptionally comfortable and warm room and a comfy bed. Affable staff with great local knowledge. Plenty of goodies for breakfast. Wonderful base for exploring South Lake Tahoe.

Convenient Location, Decent Room Size, Useful Amenities
The hotel was in a decent location and easy to find. The room was average in size and had all the basic amenities including a fridge and microwave. there was a small coffee shop and convenience store nearby, which was useful.
That's about the only positive thing I can say. The room was filthy, and the staff was not very friendly or helpful.

The location of Emerald Bay Lodge was perfect for us, as it was conveniently situated near the highway. The proximity to the beach was also a positive aspect of our stay.

Complementary breakfast and shuttle service were great! Location on the main road made it easy to access nearby attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful in accommodating late check-in.
The room was outdated and not very clean. There were stains on the bedding and a damp smell throughout the room.
